Batizado Details
Please join the Ilê De Palmares (IDP) capoeira group for our third annual batizado (capoeira graduation event) – Ilê De Palmares Batizado festival; with a week’s worth of fantastic workshops and events (Monday, July 17th through Sunday, July 23rd). All capoeiristas are welcome to register for any/all of the workshops and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from IDP teachers and visiting special guest Mestres, Contra Mestres, Professors and Instructors, and play together in the open rodas (circle where the game of capoeira is played). For those who would like to come and watch the main event – Ilê De Palmares 2017 Batizado – tickets will be available.
